The Tennessee Statewide Automated Victim Information and Notification Program (SAVIN) allows crime victims in participating counties to obtain timely and reliable information about an offender’s custody status 24 hours a day by telephone, through the internet, or by e-mail.

Users can simply call a toll free number or go on-line to access the information. The service is available in English and Spanish.

A citizen who has been victimized by someone housed at the Rhea County Jail can call 1-888-868-4631 or tty/tdd 1-866-847-1298 to have their information recorded with the Victim Notification Hotline.

When that inmate is released or transferred to another facility, the victim will be notified by the computer system in an effort to give them advance warning that the inmate is no longer housed at the Rhea County Jail.
